Synthetic garments, including recycled swim shorts and other performance clothing, can release small plastic fibers during washing. The Guppyfriend Washing Bag helps capture these fibers before they enter wastewater while also reducing the friction that causes garments to shed.
Its durable filter fabric is designed not to release microplastic fibers itself. By helping clothing last longer and reducing microfiber pollution, the bag makes caring for sustainable swimwear more responsible.
Instructions
Place synthetic garments inside the bag, close the zipper completely and wash with other clothing at a maximum of 40°C.
Remove garments while they are still damp. Collect any captured fibers from the reinforced hem by hand and dispose of them in general household waste—never rinse them down the drain.
Do not overfill the bag. Wash it alongside other garments to keep the washing machine balanced, and allow the bag to air dry after use.
